Tell Me Your Mine is book 1 of 3 in the British Billionaire Series by J.S. Scott.
Sometimes you just want a good, sweet read. A chance encounter between a plus-sized public relations, California girl and a broody, moody British billionaire strikes up a whirlwind ride that neither ever expected. both MCs have strong personalities and both are very well defined characters. If there is one flaw, Nicole’s self image is in garbage. She is so much harder on herself than necessary, especially considering she surrounds herself with women who lift her up. Damien is classic broody guy, but in this case, he has reason to be broody with the weight of the world on his shoulders
Narrators:
Rupert Channing (Damien) does a really nice job in this audiobook. I imagine being an American talking like a Brit isn’t easy. He has a nice voice, that is very sensual as it comes across the airways. There were a couple of times in the novel that it felt like his accent was a little forced and it was obvious to me that it wasn’t a natural speaking tone for him.
Elizabeth Powers (Nicole) has a lovely voice, I could listen to her read all day. I liken her to Andi Arndt who is a regular favorite of mine. She holds her own against Damien and does Nicole justice.
Highly recommend this audiobook, especially if you’re like me and always driving and needing something new to listen to.
